The Bits List

Originally thought that it would take me a couple of weeks to sort the car for a MOT, the pile of replacement panels and other stuff bought from John Gordon was:

1 Rear Valance
2 Rear Tank Covers
1 Rear O/S lower quarter panel
4 Sill End Caps
2 Front Inner Wing Splash Panels
1 Set of Front Pads
1 Set of Rear Pad's
1 Set Of Rear Disc's

In addition to

1 Mig Welder from Machine Mart
1 Set of Panel Beating Hammers and Dollies
1 Box of Assorted Pop Rivets from Car Boot Sale
Numerous Metal Cutting Disc's and Grinding Wheels from Same Car Boot Sale

2 Job Lot's of Assorted Grommets from eBay
Various Assorted Hand Tools generally from eBay which include Digital Vernier Caliper 2 Micrometer's Metric and Imperial Automatic Center Punch and probably a lot of other stuff I can't remember.

Paint

1 1Ltr Tin of David's 182 Zinc Primer
3 750ml Tins Of Hammerite Paint, Knocked down Cheap at B&Q, 2 Silver 1 Blue
1 Tin Smooth Hammerite Black
1 Tin Of Aluminium Paint

When I got into the job in a big way the list of panels increased to

1 Sill NS
1 OSR Wheel Arch Repair Panel

And Sundry Items

1 Rear Silencer eBay Used Spare
1 Rear Exhaust Pipe New eBay
1 New Front Number Plate and Surround Local Emporium
1 Rear View Mirror eBay
1 Full Set Of Vega Instruments eBay
1 Set of Chrome Wheel Arch Embellishers Used JagCats
1 Rear N/S Door Used JagCats
1 1,1/8" AF ½"Socket
1 5/8" AF Long Series Combination Spanner

And Various Sheet Metal Cut Offs courtesy of a local Black Smith, I had originally sourced some sheet metal from some suitable white goods but after the work required to ready these for welding I ditched it in favour of raw sheet steel, which isn't readily available in quantities I required, could have bought 6 x 3 sheets of varying gauges but would have still had a lot left.
