Gibson also put there prices up every six months and lo an behold my guitar took so long to arrive it went up, the Rock Shop where very apologetic but sadly didn't take the hit, understandably, and passed it onto me. Think the final bill was about £2.9k and a hand tooled strap took it up to the magic £3k, I had blown the lot.

The guitar. well, when I got it I was so in awe I didn't even plug it in an play it in the shop, didn't want to embarass myself, not even sure I played it when I got home and it's been that sort of relationship ever since, I do play it, but not often, it sits in it,s plush case on top of the wardrobe mostly, even put it up for sale, but wasn't giving it away, didn't get a sniff apart from some guy who wanted to swap it for a 50th Anniversary Strat. I didn't take him up on it.

It is a beautiful piece of wood and craftsmanship, sounds great with 57 Humbuckers, I even bought a decent amp to play it through, my only critism is, I do tire after about 20 minutes standing up playing and I cost me so much I'm scared to take it out or even touch it.
